Join Us For a Fun and Relaxing Float Down the American River on June 4th!

 

Meet up is at 11:00am under the Watt Avenue Access Point Bridge

Don't forget to grab a Turquoise Wrist Band before hitting the water.

 

We Plan to Launch into the water as a GROUP at NOON!

Join Us!

For a Leisurely and Relaxing Float down the American River on JUNE 4th, 2016!  We will enjoy a slow float down the river for about 1 - 1-1/2 hours depending on the water current.  Kids Welcome!

Transportation to and from cars will be provided by carpooling and by others in our group.

Look for others with  the Turquoise wrist bands! 

 

What to Bring:   

BRING A TUBE, RAFT, or ANYTHING THAT WILL FLOAT!

 

Bring plenty of Water

Bring Snacks | Towels | Hats | Sunscreen | Waterproof Cameras

Bring a Super Soaker for Protection and for Ambushes!

Bring Your Life Jackets (optional for adults) Mandatory for KIDS.

 

Meet up is at 11:00am at the Watt Avenue American River Access Point.

Bring $5 for Parking. Please split cars between the Howe and Watt Access Points if you can.

 

We are Launching at NOON as a Group. Don't be late! Allow time to buy your parking pass and blow up your rafts. Creative Tubes/Floats encouraged.

 

Our Exit Point off the river is before the Howe Avenue Bridge - Look for the Big Tree & Turquoise Balloons!

This is where we are entering the river.  

Meet up is at 11:00am.  Driver's can drop passengers off here and park down at Howe & La Riviera. Carpooling will be available. Blowers may be available but try and bring your own if you have one.  

 

Lifejackets for the kids are Required.

 

Make sure to grab a Turquoise Wrist Band for Lunch and Carpools!

You can park here at the Exit point on Howe Avenue. It might be helpful to have your car, chairs, and towels parked at the Howe Avenue Access Point.

 

This is where we are exiting the river and hotdogs will be served.

THE SPAN BETWEEN BOTH PARKING LOTS FROM LA RIVIERA DRIVE IS ONLY 1..5 MILES.  FYI.  SHORT DRIVE TIME.

 

*The current is a little stronger where we launch under the bridge but the river gets wider and the flow slows down shortly after the bridge. Don't worry.   :)
